Monitoring the cable news this afternoon, a question slaps any straight thinking adult... why aren't Republican women standing up for the sisterhood? Justice O'Connor spoke clearly on this issue, having been the only woman on the Court herself, before Justice Ginsberg was appointed. It is a unique culture working there and Justice O'Connor stated clearly that her job was much more difficult being the only woman there.
So, Bush caves into the demands of the far-right post haste- not exactly a "cowboy" with courage who will protect us, but really, a weak manager with no guts and then appoints a man. Defacto sexism, that is today's elephant.
