Pulling Back the Curtain: Economic Terrorism our Greatest Threat

See Previous Article Re-Posted from October 2008-
Reality bites.

Dennis Blair, our new Director of National Intelligence and the Obama administration fully understand the danger of global economic instability. Truth in the Executive Branch of our government is the change we can all be grateful for, right now. Scary? Yes. Paralyzing? No way.

American workers fashioning a "people's" government is exactly what the world needs from us as well. Time for all citizens of good faith to get active, create the change the "accountable" class is calling for, take up the most righteous American tradition of a "fair day's trade". That is what "democratic capitalism" is all about. I win you win... profit based on a positive transaction, return customers, quality of product, labor and service. I get rich because my word is good and I stand behind my product. Progress really is our most important product. That is who we really are, remember?

It's up to all of us to deliver on OUR word, bring fairness and oversight back into our own lives, as we unite to create opportunity for all Americans and green card workers, including the least of these our brothers and sisters. It is our civic duty, each and every one of us, to roll up our sleeves, tap into our DNA, our legacy of rugged individualism, pragmatic thinking, and that incredible "pioneer" spirit. No one else can lead the world out of this pit of despair, deceit and corporate defiance on a global scale. No one, that is, except the American workforce.

"My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."

—Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged 35th anniversary edition

Main Street Elephant: Voters Call for FDR Revolution to Fix Economy

To hell with Wall Street, remember Hoover's Bank rescue attempts? They all went belly up within 12 months anyway. It wasn't until FDR called a bank holiday, took over homeowner loans and created millions of jobs via WPA infrastructure programs that we finally pulled out of the depression. It was jobs and debt relief for the average American then, and that's what we need now.

The time is ripe, folks. Democrats must start acting like Democrats, and take full advantage of a progressive majority in both houses. And Barack Obama should lead the charge.

Keating Five Elephant: McCain Manipulates Bailout to Eliminate Capital Gains Taxes, MORE Deregulation of Wall Street

Obviously, the McCain-Palin "Country First" motto refers to the country of "Richistan", certainly not the US of A.

John McCain has really screwed the American people again. Why the dramatic move to intervene? Is McCain involved in this "banking scandal" too? (google "Keating Five") The Republican "alternative" plan to attach a 2-year moratorium on capital gains taxes and more deregulation of Wall Street is now stalling the entire process.

We spit on your graves.
